Program Description:
NASA internships provide undergraduate and graduate students with the opportunity to participate in either research or other experiential learning, under the guidance of a mentor at NASA. Program's focus is on cutting-edge, fundamental research in traditional aeronautical disciplines, as well as emerging fields with promising application to aeronautics. Supported fields in engineering are: aeronautical and aerospace, chemical engineering, civil engineering, computer engineering, electrical and electronic, energy, engineering mechanics, engineering science, industrial engineering, materials engineering, mechanical engineering, metallurgical engineering, polymer engineering, systems engineering. Additional supported fields are: mathematics, computer science, physics. Students may apply directly to this program.
