Program Description:
AAJA's mission is to encourage Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPIs) to enter journalism, to work for fair and accurate coverage of AAPIs, and to increase the number of AAPI journalists and news managers in the industry. Each year AAJA offers scholarships, internships, and grants to fund internships, to outstanding undergraduate and graduate students interested in pursuing careers in print, digital, broadcast or photo journalism. Recent scholarships have been up to $2,000. Different selection criteria and eligibility requirements apply to each award.
How To Apply:
Information on this program is offered for the benefit of our students. The Fellowships Office does not at this time, however, work with applicants to this program.
