Pre-Doc Eligibility

You are eligible* to apply for the California Pre-Doctoral Program if you are:

• an SF State junior, senior or master's student;
• enrolled in a SF State/CSU degree-seeking program (as opposed to a certificate program);
• interested in pursuing a research doctorate and teaching at the college or university level;
• a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or AB540/undocumented student;

      and

• will be enrolled at least one unit of the Fall semester of the next academic year.

*Please note that CSU students in Ed.D. programs are ineligible for this program.
